Why the name cpmsonora?

CPM refers to a missiological term, Church Planting Movement.
A CPM is a rapid and exponential increase of indigenous churches planting
churches within a given people group or population segment.

The church planting activities described on this website are joint projects between local Baptist churches across the state of Sonora and missionaries Alan and Donna Brown. Alan and Donna are Strategy Coordinators for the State of Sonora with the International Mission Board, Southern Baptist Convention.
